My first baseball game
My first trip to a baseball game, organized by Carol our department manager. You can see me with the Pawsox Bear, and me with the Rick, the Director Of Security... who kindly posed for a photo, and then gave me a Pawsox hat, whilst giving me his best cockney impression...

I'm in the middle of exams at the moment. Cell Biology on Tuesday, went well, a fantastic class taught by Gary Wessel here at Brown. Tomorrow I have Calculus, eerghh... It's not going very well.. In need of some more pre-calc over the summer I think. Friday I'm off to the Synthetic Biology conference at Berkeley, (meeting up with Mandy, Ronen, Katrina on the way) plus Phil and Ann in Sunnyvale, and Sheldon on iGEM. Then to Hawaii on Weds 24th, and then to Manila on Thursday. A Ying will join me on Friday, for 10 days in the Philippines before going to Malaysia to see A ying's family, where Mike and Phil will join us for a few days, before I return to the USA on June 12th. At which point the iGEM team will be in full swing, and I have 6 weeks of research on protein DNA binding, followed by 3 weeks at the Biology of Aging course at Woods Hole (Cape Cod). Hope you have a pleasant sumer too. John

So did you find out the rules? So we know what we're doing the next time we find ourselves in a park with an empty champagne bottle and cork?
Keep having fun. I'll write properly soon.
Hugs, K.
