I started in the biology lab 2 weeks ago, and I've been learning how to dissect fruit fly brains and use chemical dyes to stain them for different proteins. It is fascinating, and great to be doing some practical biology. Dad gave me a lift at 6am to KC, and the train only took 4 and a half hours, London to Hull used to take 3, so I do not feel much further away from home than before.
