Hola,

all is good here, went to the beach for a long weekend and arrived back last night, but 4 nights of partying and too much drinking are now taking their toll. Another art presentation next week, Im thinking of doing it on sculpture.

adios,

Hacienda Merida, Lake Nicaragua, Ometepe, Nicaragua. Cant remember the name of the guy with the camera, but he was British.

All contunues to go well in Mexico. Had a busy weekend of parties and painting. Alison came up from Cuernavaca and her and jeremy painted a mural on some material we bought. plus bought some drapes for the house and it is now looking truly lived in. Will take some photos as a friend from Germany Corina, was kind enough to download my photos form my camera. one of which is above, one of my favorites it is from the sunset on lake nicaragua. Will put more up as I go.

Met a mexican guy who speaks good english in the paint shop opposite, he invited me to a family party on saturday night, which was excellent, 40 people in his family! and they have a family get-together on the first saturday of the month. lots of food, singing and dancing. have been invited next month as well.

On sunday me jeremy, Alison and 4 beatiful basque girls, (and one basque guy) went museum and gallery hunting in the Zocolo. (town centre, historical area) was a really good day, followed the trail we had been on in art class the previous week, so saw everything twice, but was still good. ended the night with a great meal at Isaks and Bosmats, two of the most friendly Israelis Ive met. Found a couple of smashed up pinyatas on the way home so we now have half a buzz light year and somebody else I dont recognise decorating the house. hoping to picnik in the Valle de las monkas on sunday. Saturday is Teotihuacan Pyramids near mexico city and friday is a party for our spanish class. so already fillled up for next weekend and it is only monday.

how sad to hear about the space shuttle columbia crashing on saturday, I hope it does not deter future space exploration... that might scupper future plans...

Me on top of a mountain in southern mexico near some ruines near Tehuantepec, taken by jeremy.
