At last, I finally got off my lazy arse and I've put a picture up. It was a busy weekend, felt very relaxed after handing in my space invaders, went to the Adelphi on Friday night, for a STAR (student Action for Refugees) benefit gig. A great night with some really good Kurdish music, and some british bands too. Lots of dancing, kurdish styley. Then saturday afternoon was Lewis's BBQ, happy 21st, then saturday night back to the Adelphi for Easy Skankin, the Reggae night, never been before, but really good, nice and chilled, the two guys sat behind the decks all night, one each... Then back to Lewis's for a party. Met up with Tom and Dave who are studying South-East Asian Studies at Hull, if I get the singaporean scholarship, I'll not be too far away from them, as they'll be studying Thai in ChangMai. We've big plans for a Chang Bang 2002 party, so watch this space if you'll be anywhere near.

The international office at Uni told me that singapore will make the decision at the end of this week, but doesn't know when I'll find out.
I'm going to look at Chech Republic, Sweden and Latvia as Erasmus (european study scheme) fall back plans if Singapore doesn't go ahead.
red cross abseiling off Princes Quay, Chloe is blocking the sun here
Sunday saw a few friends abseiling down Princes Quay, the main shopping centre in Hull, in aid of the British Red Cross. I didn't do it my self, but got some great photo's of Amy, Kevin and Chloe. Chloe is the one blocking the sun in this photo. After that joined the legalise cannabis march organised by Carl Wagner, the guy who wants to open a cannabis cafe in Hull. March went from Queens Gardens to Pearson Park, 2-300 people there, not been to Pearson park before, really nice, and a wicked conservatory in the middle of it. Well worth a visit for free. snakes and parrots and fish. no photo's as my lens steamed up...
legalise cannabis march
Before I go, worth mentioning Peaberry food and drink, in between the station and the fez club, on the corner, amazingly good food and so cheap. All these places I'm only just finding in Hull, just as I'm about to go away for a year! It can only get better I suppose...
